Programs
Hooves for the Heart, LLC offers animal assisted activities and learning as well as therapeutic riding lessons throughout the year. These one-on-one opportunities with animals such as horses, cows llamas or alpacas can reach a child that is struggling in immeasurable ways. Optimum success is reached with parental support and encouragement.
$125 per lesson or 3 for $300.
Workstudy programs are available.
A manual, written by Terena," It’s Not Just Horsing Around: A strategic design for equine assisted therapy with high risk children" is available. This book covers the step-by-step plan of specialized riding lessons for children suffering from emotional disorders. The goal of the book is to provide guidance, insight and knowledge to professionals interested in starting or enhancing a program of their own.

Presentations: Terena’s enthusiastic talks and demonstrations are a
great way to introduce her unique therapeutic riding program to your
area. You can make a difference in the lives of children through the use
of her techniques. Two-day workshops and one-day seminars are available
at your location. The two-day workshop is a great hands-on approach,
while the one-day seminar is designed for a classroom setting.

1 day Seminar $800.00*
Program development is available for your stable. If you already have a
program in place or would like to begin one, Terena can show you how to
add her powerful interventions to your current curriculum to help you
reach difficult children more successfully.
Program Development $1000.00 /day* or $5000.00 /7 days* *
